Our Methods and Approach
Our curriculum are created according to specific ages and stages of perceptual devleopment. We offer structured classes with individual attention in a unique, creative environment. Students of all ages are invited to get inspired and creative in drawing, painting and sculpture.
For the student's long-term interests, we combined two different methods in our teaching. On one hand, we provide students opportunities to discover their creative world with open-ended project and stimulate their imagination through discussion, playing, and experiencing. On the other hand, we teach them the classic ways of making art and train them to comfortablely use different tools and media to express themself.
Students at DAS will practice the techniques of drawing and painting as the foundation for creative expression, creative decision-making, and meaningful visual communication.
Students progress from basic skills, such as gesture and proportion, as they draw in pencil, to more advanced color study and other dynamic techniques as they paint still life, the figure, portraits, landscapes and interiors.
